Need help with AeroSnap? Have feedback, questions, or a bug to report? We'd love to hear from you.
AeroSnap uses advanced AI to identify aircraft. Accuracy depends on photo quality, lighting, and aircraft visibility. For verified results, type the tail number to cross-check against the FAA registry.
You get 5 free Enhanced AI identifications per day. If you want more, you can purchase pack credits (50, 200, or 500 IDs) that don't expire. Pack credits are used after your daily quota is exhausted.
AeroSnap works best with clear, well-lit photos of aircraft. If the aircraft is too small, blurry, partially obscured, or photographed at an unusual angle, identification may fail. Try retaking the photo with the aircraft more centered and visible.
Open AeroSnap, go to Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Your pack credits will sync across all your devices.
The Collection grid shows aircraft you've successfully identified. Each unique aircraft type counts once. Out of 234 supported aircraft types, the number shows how many you've spotted.
Your photos stay on your device. AeroSnap sends only the photo being identified to our AI provider, and the photo is not stored after identification. Optionally you can also save photos to your Photo Library via Settings.
Identification requires an internet connection. Your scan history, collection, and previous identifications are stored locally and accessible offline.
Go to Settings → Export Logbook to CSV. This generates a CSV file with your scan history that you can share to email, save to Files, or import into spreadsheet apps.
